Who are we?

Our trainer, Ruth has been a registered nurse since 2006, having trained with the University of Nottingham.

Ruth has worked within a large NHS hospital for most of her career. Recently moving in to Private care also.

She has worked in medical and surgical areas. Gaining understanding of a variety of pathways, specialising in bariaric and surggical care.

Having worked during Covid-19, Ruth's latest job is working on Same Day Emergency Care unit. A fast paced unit, see patients from Gp surgeries and ED who are experiencing chest pain, possible DVTs, and other conditions which can be seen and treated as day cases. Therefore reducing the amount of admissions required.

Ruth has gained a wide variety of skills and knowledge over the years.

Ruth's passion for teaching was noted during her mentorship of all students that she over saw during their training.

She has seen first hand the benefits of everyone having First Aid skills on some level.

Ruth is passionate about delivering quality adult and paediatric first aid courses to all.

Education and training is key to ensuring everyone gains confidence and life saving skills.

We believe it is important, for students, of all ages to learn basic first aid skills.

By training students, we are enabling a safer place for all.
