Is your FAW training HSE compliant?

Yes, our training meets HSE requirements. Our trainers hold FAW certification for training and assessing. The training quality is assessed against a Quality Assurance program managed by ProTrainings. Training is updated as required to include the latest guidance.

FAW and EFAW courses have been designed to meet the syllabus of set out in Appendix 5 and 6 of the 2013 edition of First aid at work

Courses are registered with the Awarding Organisation Training Qualifications UK and the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) in England.

Do you have a Covid-19 policy?

We ask that anyone with ANY Covid-19 symptoms or have been in contact with anyone showing signs of Covid-19 do not attend their training and notify us.

Should you experience symptoms while on the course or receive an NHS track and trace notification you should notify your instructor immediately under the NHS guidelines.

Face coverings should be worn at all times. Upon arrival you will be asked to use the hand gel and your temperature will be checked. Please try to adhere to social distancing when moving around.

All mannequin's and equipment are thoroughly cleaned before and after each session. Lungs are changes (if used) after every session. Wipes will be available to clean the mannequins between each learner.

What are the qualification requirements for Childminder and Nursery staff?

Department of Education requirements are set out in ANNEX A of the Early years foundation stage (EYFS) statutory framework. You will need a specialised Paediatric First Aid course. Most commonly you will require the 12 hour "full" Paediatric First Aid course.

Can children attend your Parent / family first aid courses?

We pride ourselves on being accessible to all. This is why we allow children aged 3 years and under onto our Parent / family first aid courses. The sessions are designed with little people in mind. In a safe and secure environment, but which still allows a great learning environment.
